I saw this morning that PAF was recommended in a note by Bell Potter: https://www.livewiremarkets.com/wires/bell-potter-analyst-outlook-top-stock-picks-for-2018
That might help explain today's jump.
As of this morning my PAF position had made 20.46% in this financial year alone. Obviously it will be more after today's close. A combination of decent performance and the fact it's gone from trading at a discount to what's now a fairly large premium.
