... to what effect? ... to gain his objective opinion? hardly! ... to ascertain his version of events? that would be interesting! ... to gain an insight into a brilliant strategy? not a strategic bone in his body and even when there was a clearly articulated strategy he was either incapable of following it or couldn't remember it past his daily early liquid lunch!
