Civil court has ruled that the border control system case by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) against the department of immigration and emigration cannot be entertained by the court.

The previous case by the ACC asking the department of immigration and emigration not to implement the agreement to establish a border control system was dismissed by the civil court stating that the ACC did not have the authority over the issue.

Civil court Judge Ali Naseer today ruled that the case also involved an agreement between the government and Nexbiz Malaysia Company, and hence cannot be deemed void as the rights guaranteed by the contract law to the two parties should be protected, and that the case could not be entertained as it had been dismissed before by the civil court.

Judge also said that the previous civil court ruling should be appealed at a higher court.

ACC claims that the border control system agreement had possible corruption issues during the tender process.
