So are you guys using your own platform or a retail platform?

Currently I am only looking at FX and back testing strategies on my own platform (C#, XNA based charting and SQL, FIX) using tick data (approx 100GB for only 3 pairs) ... but I manually trade various CFDs of equities, indices and so on ...

does anyone know of any dedicated Perth based Quant or algo forums or groups or even companies? I have yet to find any of these ... which is frustrating ...
