• Torrens Energy Ltd offered two Geothermal Exploration Permits (GEPs) in Victoria
in Geothermal tender process
• Central Location of Permits in the Melbourne Zone
Torrens Energy Limited (Torrens) is pleased to announce that it has been offered two
Geothermal Exploration Permits (GEPs) in Victoria.
The two GEPs are located central to markets and infrastructure, in keeping with the
Company’s philosophy of exploring in locations close to major markets and
population centres. As can be seen in figure 1, the two successful tenders are close
to Melbourne, Australia’s second largest city with over 3.5 million people.
The Company is excited about this opportunity and congratulates the government
of Victoria for this initiative.
