Similarly shareholders and banks must be proud that their sacrifice will reduce Australia's carbon footprint by changing locally made for impoted Soda Ash.
The chaps will be able to go into Green Jobs. The fitters can retrain as hairdressers and the operators will make fine barristas. Port Adelaide may become a hairdressing centre of excellence, alternatively they could go into the Adelaide foothills to start an organic vegetable growing co operative.
The directors and staff were doing a fine job just keeping the old plant chugging along. They were slowly sinking but this is going to push them under.
