I don't believe someone has insight of board members, and they won't post here if someone does has.
But it make me to guess: some board and management members have Chinese background----the main shareholder is Chinese ShaGang ---- ShaGang is a steel maker, that need a constant/reliable Ore/Pellet source to feed their operation.
It naturally make sense ShaGang doesn't really care if Granger can cut the cost?
I think they just care about the off-take volume to be secured.
