Mehmet Aksoy docked this morning even though there are still high westerly winds in Bass Strait.
Based on current pellet price of $US133 so net $US118 after freight allowance and applying current exchange rate of 0.744 gives net $A158.60 and on 80kt shipment amounts to $12.7mil which is up to $A1.5mil more than the average shipment in the first quarter.
And our stash of US dollars in the bank should translate to a nice exchange gain in the current half year given the collapsing value of the Aust dollar.
