Anyone have a view why Zhe Hai 1 had to leave Port Latta and then return to complete loading a few days later:
- issue with the loading facility?
- lack of personnel over the holiday period
- weather
- lack of pellets
- something else?
Also no ships are listed in the expected arrivals. It will be interesting to see how much inventory was held as at 31 Dec 2017, recognizing around 100K was loaded in the first week of Jan 2018.
Re the share price weakness today who knows - maybe the press on the iron ore forecast, maybe someone just wanted to sell when there are not many new incremental buyers in a slow holiday market. The quarterly and half yearly results and any guidance on future production, costs and dividends will be critical to the share price over coming months as will the actual iron ore price and pellet premium, not somebody's forecast.
Put me down for a 1c dividend for the H2 2017 but I am more focused on capex, cashflow and dividends in FY18 which will hopefully be a lot stronger and higher.
