Most fund managers are so conceited Mickey that they wouldn't even acknowledge they got it wrong. As an old stockbroker friend once told me " the majority of fund managers are just a waste of space. They are so driven by quarterly performance figures in order to keep fresh investment money rolling in. They lose sight of the real reason they are there. To manage people's money & safely achieve a good return ".
