There is no doubt that electricity prices will rise putting the solar choice right up there. In fact with the NSW tariff situation the (demand) applications are still increasing on a monthly basis (at least an extra 16% this month). The demand is so strong that supply is running out and the maker of Sharp panels / inverters diverted supplies to US and Europe in preference to Australia putting more strain on supply. I see this as a plus for CBD producing inverters as the demand will be strong. The company should be in a position to indicate the inverter progress over the next few months. I am looking forward to some good news on this. On the subject of inverters it is a shame to see some of them being installed in sunny positions. This will cause some to be replaced by overheating etc.
And yes the world is full of coal and there is also heaps more to explore. The UGC has another benefit in that it takes the risk out of drilling at sea. The US / Russia etc are all looking at UGC and isnt it great that australia has a company that leads in this area and looks to have scored some exciting leases in wyoming. I will leave that for the LNC (code) forum.
