All good points pivalde but I find it hard to believe Prana did not know what was going on with PBT2. Think about it, PBT2 was a hit compound among a few hundred hit compounds, Then it appears three institutions investigated the properties of PBT2.

With a major multi institution research operation(IMO) underway, nobody spoke to the drug's owner, which happens to be almost next door to the DI. OK, maybe I am a sceptic after holding for nearly 4 years of bad news announcements. This may indicate Prana did not take even a slight interest in that ongoing research. Any announcement from Prana may have had a positive price effect.
Pivalde I know less than you, but I just get an uneasy feeling about how this went down. I sure hope the board is not working against the interests of Prana longterm holders. Some announcement could ease that worry and, with any luck, drive the price UP.
