So at this stage, I am having fun speculating whats going on...

So at this stage, I am having fun speculating whats going on with these guys. I can envisage any of the following but not sure which one it is, what do you think fits.

1) They are just really incompetent at managing their timelines, and projects and this dfs delay and constant incorrect communication as to timing is the result. I think I stopped believing this one when they missed their own self imposed quarter 4, 2011 deadline. Its hard to believe anyone can be four months overdue on something like this.

2) Something unknown to us and also negative regarding this mine and the dfs is going on, but they just cant bear to release this bad news until namiquipa or one of their other plays has progresed enough to hopefully keep them in the game and get a few months more salary. or some of the board members who hold shares time to offload their shareholding risk in some off the books way. (have another officially unrelated entity do some short selling on their behalf). Sounds a bit John Grisham like I know, but who knows how these guys operate

3) Something unkown and also positive regarding the mine and the dfs is going on but they cant reveal until its all finished and its taking some time to do so. The only thing I can imagine is if they are planning to release some mine funding news simultaneously, maybe goldcorp have decided to play ball after all, or someone else has an interest in it or one of their other sites and is willing to put up some cash. I still cant imagine why they would decide to link the two however, there is no need and they could have just released the dfs with some commentary about funding requirements now being pursued.

Any other thoughts on whats going on? Pure speculation I know.
