    Hi,

There seems to be a misconception about the cash offer and its tax implications.

If a predator makes a cash offer, it will be for the whole company (and not for parts of the company so that directors can enjoy free options and still be directors of a rump company). This way it will be upto each individual shareholder circumstanc which will dictate the capital gains tax.

I say bring on the cash offer for TXN at 65 cents a share - I gather many will like that.
