    Hi Paddy,
    Thanks for your kind comments.

Below are some musings, and PDF's of past explorers, which may be of some use.

Re Black Hills I have been vaguely aware of these results and put them in a back burner basket of hard to evaluate.  Along with Tim's Dome, Chicken Ranch (+Turkey Farm and others in the greater CR area) where NCM, in particular, and other explorers have spent a lot of money trying to sort the wheat from the chaff.

With the significant drill intersections at Havieron in holes 1 and 5 (and Winu) there comes a feeling that previous explorers missed the big ones.  Hopefully that is true but they did do the hard yards to get the base data that the current generation of explorers are using with access to new technologies and funds.

Black Hills has seen a lot of drilling and exploration so IMO while Greatland's results are interesting they may come as no real surprise to NCM geo's who worked there over the years.  NCM has held the ground multiple times as shown in WA government open file reports.

    A few examples only:

It is somewhat tricky to compare the areas involved between past work and what is now the Greatland Black Hill project.

I have only tried to correlate the 2015 NCM tenement data (Blue Outline) which should be reasonably accurate.

The 2014 NCM tenements were a bit larger but the compiled drill data in PDF 1 above shows how much "shallow" drilling and geochemistry have been done.  The 2005 report shows other surveys were done including geophysics.

I suspect the anecdotal success of AEM at Winu has shifted the focus away from IP.

The results of IP on Citadel and Minyari, in particular, have been disappointing.  Tim's dome IP remains to be drill tested completely I believe.  There are anomalies but what, how deep remain relatively unanswered - eg Blue Steel in particular.

Greatland considered the 3DIP anomaly at Saddle Reefs to be good and IMO if, not already tested by drilling, remains a valid target.  As with any indirect exploration technique, at least with current technology, they do need to be drill tested.  Given 1000+m holes may be needed at Havieron, 3-500m or so testing doesn't seem like such a major deal.

In a much earlier post just after AZY acquired Chicken Ranch I made this comment.

Overall my impression is the acquisition (CR) is worthy of further work but a lot will be required, this will be relatively expensive and probably result in an underground deposit at best - consider what has happened at Minyari Dome so far.

Perhaps a bit too sweeping a statement (in hindsight) as there may be some open pit potential....as there is at Minyari.

Greatlands are going to have issues attached to success if the results for Holes 6-9 come back with the kind of grades implied from similar lithologies/mineralisation in Holes 1 and 5.   This may put projects like Saddle Reefs and others on the back burner for awhile.
