Well we know from the drill results from the 90's that gold exists directly below the pits but not in viable quantities.
We also know from the PASS presentations that the water table is only several meters below the surface. Any open pit mining or tunnels will need pumps operating continuously.
Fortunately we will know how much gold there is 250+ meters long before any PASS is put into the pits.
