In other words - since the Chinese stopped taking these recyclables - nothing has been done and there are some sheds in Melbourne busting at the seams with recyclables.
Shutting down landfills will only put more pressure on other landfills in Melbourne especially with the Melbourne population growing steadily.
This problem will not go away quickly
Maybe the time is right for Mike to play the "Landfill" card and throw another ball in the air to juggle
