Scotty - you really have to ask yourself this
If you are currently getting $80 per tonne for your landfill with very little effort
why would you substitute this landfill for PASS - where you have to spend time and money to comply with EPA and then ask less than half the price????
Keep in mind that landfill in Melbourne is at a premium
Also keep in mind that most of the PASS coming from the tunnels will be in the form of rock not soft soil as is the case of Coote Island Silt. It should be fun trying to lime treating rocky PASS
