Are those disposal places that you listed?
And they comply with all licensing and permits to take PASS?
I believe before one names contenders one should be sure they have all permits and approvals in place.
I know NAG does and they are open for business.
The others you mentioned? They USED TO take PASS, when there was only small amounts needed disposal of.
My understanding is that they will continue to be open to take PASS for awhile until the long arm of Govt. beaurocracy catches up with them to review their existing permits. Permits issued long, long ago.
Some have made lots of money due to very scant controls and, surprise, surprise they even have a very dodgy reputation.
I got into NAG early for the gold.
PASS is a bonus side-show if it gets up.
I amuse myself watching the PASS saga unfold I amuse myself mentally predicting where this is all going.

Victorian Govt. was elected because of their idealistic vision and wants PASS disposed of properly.
Cleanout of top echelon at EPA. Interestingly, a new boss vowing to clean the industry up.
Crackdowns publicised regularly...and loudly.
Not one crumb of info about how those companies you mentioned are going to dispose of the massive amounts of PASS arriving every 5 minutes.
Do they have UP TO DATE PERMISSIONS ETC?
The info is conspicuous by its total absence.
Even a legit management plan detailing all tasks and testing procedure?
Lime treatment? What a joke. Love to see a D10 pushing dirt around in pouring rains. They’ll need another D10 to pull it free...if it can get near it.
I believe the lime treatment is a backdoor method being plied
( and probably tendered on that basis).
To clarify, a method that DOES NOT use encapsulation in alkaline water.
I sincerely believe the Limers are just wanting to get the contract and are worrying about lime treatment later.
I believe the trucking companies may not be fully aware of the seriousness of the EPA’s mandate.
Imagine, a trucking co. wins the tender and the has to later re-negotiate with another disposal facility.
I keep hearing “lime treatment is cheap, it’s nothing much, it’s easy” I seriously doubt that.
My tip for the PASS sideshow?
The truckers and the companies you mentioned will likely nut out a deal with the Principal Contractor.
I believe they will not be able to keep up and the boring machines will not stop for anything. They will be too optimistic about Liming.
NAG to end up taking the lions share when the Limers fail
Unless, of course, NAG is given the work straight away so the PASS can be safely stored under water.
Drive up, Tip , wash the truck, quick cup of coffe and off again. Hopefully with backloads of sand or aggregate.
