Lucky for us that the EPA hydrologists have already cleared the NAG pits for any pollution of the aquifers. The hydrologists were also present at the community consultation to dispel any such fears.
I should also note that the EPA stipulated that the pits were to be sealed once filled. A tall order if the PASS was dumped in PPB.
I'm sure dumping 1.3 millions tonnes of PASS in PPB would go down very well with the bayside residents and commercial and recreational fishermen.
I think the ALP and Greens would love to be re-elected again
