Yawn. What a boring thread.

PASS is not being taken and treated with Lime anywhere in Melbourne. That's the issue. No one has a clue what it would cost & how it would be done because it isn't being done. 

The EES for the MMRT says that PASS has to be either
1) Treated with Lime (requires ongoing monitor'g) or
2) Stored Underwater

So what has happened with PASS disposed of any other way (with or without an EMP) is irrelevant.

There are a lot of smoking mirrors on this thread that attempt to create strawmen (diversions). Probably an attempt to try and keep the price down. The PASS will end up in NAGs pits, the question is how much per Tonne and it won't be anything like the $10-$20/T been bandied around here which is based on it not being treated.

Stawell is the only place treating it with lime and it's further from Melb than NAGs and charges $150/T at the gate (see Mogga's posts).

Be careful who you listen too, there's a lot of Egoes around wanting to divert from the real issues. GLA.
