Has anyone considered the alternative of loading the spoil into barges, towing them out of the heads and dumping it somewhere in Bass straight?
Aside from any environmental issues, it would seem to be the most efficicient & cost effective method of disposal.
All it would take is a panel of 'experts' to say it wont impact on fisheries lol.
Hard to imagine 100's of thousands of tons of waste being trucked through melbourne and across victoria.
But, im no environmental scientist, so what would i know
