Well, crobin, I don 't think your gloomy prognosis will play out after today's announcement.
Reasonable trading - no one will flourish with all the consumers fretting about mortgage debt.
New activity with Lonsdale and Coles.
Most importantly, the measured tone of the announcement will calm the Chicken Littles.
I got in at 42 and 40.5. Looking at the market bids that suddenly appeared after the announcement, I think the bottom has passed. Pity as I wanted more. Now I will have to compete for stock.
