Would be good to actually get facts rather than the whole affair being swept under the rug which would be the wish of CCE and Governments. Yes it is a political witch hunt but if information is revealed that allows shareholders to know what actually went on. Lot cheaper than having a class action lawyer have a go as some of the work and key parts would be out in the daylight and it may just shake a couple of trees hard enough that a internal whistle blower would come forward. There is just so little protection for whistle blowers in business or politics and many may be in a situation of entrapping themselves and opening themselves up to litigation.
CCE would hide behind confidentiality clauses with much of the goings on but even if it sheds a light on it people may be aware of how it all worked and some internals of CCE would be revealed.
