they do, a trick is to take the color up to close to your eye,and stand in front of wall, also know that colors will reflect,and even if you have a dark red,wall and a light yellow floor,the wall will take on the hues of the flour, thats why interior decorators charge so much, Do NOT blame your self,few folk have a truly keen eye for color, in time whatever you chose will grow on you anyway, as long as you are happy.
ps go out side and take a photo of the same thing, over and over re setting your camera, from cloud,to tungstan,to fluro to,sunny, to night and see the diff.
