And here's the reason, from HNN, for which the RC church, is now paying dearly:
'The Church was a thousand years old before itdefinitively took a stand in favor of celibacy in the twelfth century at theSecond Lateran Council held in 1139, when a rule was approved forbiddingpriests to marry. In 1563, the Council of Trent reaffirmed the tradition ofcelibacy.'
The Church must be run by sow learners and/or placed its monetary values above the need to protect the most vulnerable among its flock- its children.
