Wild high walks Australian leisure and tourism operator, MFS Living and Leisure, has announced plans to build treetop walkways in New Zealand and New York for 2010. The walkways provide groups with the opportunity to view wildlife and scenery from a height.
Lake George, in the state of New York, will be home to a 28 metre-high and 520 metre-long treetop walk, with an additional spiral tower reaching 45 metres in height. Lake Brunner, situated on the south island of New Zealand, will be the site of a second walkway similar in size.
In addition to the walkways, groups will also be able to benefit from visitor centres and cafes that will be situated at both sites.
Plans are also in discussion to build a treetop walkway near Niagara Falls.
