Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa (JSW) should make a decision on the assets of Prairie Mining by the end of October, informed President Daniel Ozon. "We are finishing the audit, we are finishing the valuation. The Dębieńsko mine is included in the "Programme for Silesia". A positive aspect is that we could mine the first half a million tonnes per year using the infrastructure of the Szczygłowice mine". - said Ozon during a panel at the Mining Conference 2018 in Katowice. He pointed out that the possible output is 2.5-3 million tonnes per year. "These processes will be completed soon. I think they will last until the end of October," he added. In an interview with journalists, Deputy Minister of Energy Grzegorz Tobiszowski said that the ministry, as one of the shareholders, waits for the results of JSW's work on this matter."It looks like it should be good, but the devil is in the details. - said Tobiszowski.
