Exactly right ausheds, Lynas would not touch NTU with a 100ft poll. Certainly no mention of acquisitions in the Lynas NEXT business plan. Lynas has all it needs at Mt Weld.
I believe it was added into the puff piece to make NTU sound like a takeover target which I am sure would be appealing to those that are non the wiser.
This has happened a number of times now, puff piece and broker report release coincides with a SP rally and as new investors buy, the big end of town are able to off load into the rally. Rinse and repeat.
Expect the same this time around. Massive volumes and the SP hasn't even made it past $0.10.
