What's this, more unfounded allegations trying to protect the fridge magnet producers ? LOL
Most of the taxpayer payments that went to NTU are used to train the local indigenous population, take them off welfare payments and reduce the need to rely entirely on FIFO workforce. In the long run it actually saves the taxpayers money. If you have an issue with that I suggested you take it up with your local MP, although I doubt you are even an Aust taxpayer.
As for any R&D that taxpayers money may have been used by NTU that is only a drop in the bucket when compared with the millions given to Lynas. The same Lynas that after taking the R&D money for years they went ahead and built the LAMP overseas at the loss of dozens of Australian jobs. Don't remember ever seeing you whine about them spending taxpayers money or exporting our jobs overseas. LOL
