That makes no sense whatsoever. The reason behind removing Y is because it’s not a sellable product and it will reduce the amount of mixed con being produced which saves on downstream processing costs. Removing Y means it will end up in tailings, it isn’t being seperated out on its own dude. And considering removing Y is an addition to the process, it will increase COP.
