Just as well NTU is not removing the yttrium for the $2.60 then, although if they can sell it at a profit at that price is better then dumping it back in the pit.
Its only a "known loss maker" in your mind and by late 2019 I'd be expecting NTU to do well enough to make a bid for Mt Weld if the LAMP operating licence is not extended and creditors move. I'm sure the Chinese could find some spare capacity to process the NdPr concentrate from Mt Weld at one of their plants. LOL
