The commercial and technical criteria for the 2P case are very similar to those set by the SPE definitions. Specific criteria include: •Reserves may only be considered proven and probable if producibility is supported by either actual production or conclusive formation test. (SPE probable does not require a flowing well test.) •2P includes immediately adjoining undrilled p ortions beyond proved which can be reasonably judged as economically productive based on geophysical geological and engineering data.
