Have you approached the company? I only ask because I am considering doing so. I am not as unhappy as you seem to be - My time horizon is in fact the Results for 2022 at which time I believe they should be earning around 7c and paying 2c starting with the October 2021 dividend of 0.8c to 1c. They will probably have 265 million shares in issue then and already have a franking credit balance of $2,44 million They may have to acquire some franking credits (around $210,000) to do that then. However if we look at the deferred tax account they will need to have taxable income of about $25 million before they pay tax. Not sure when that will be but do expect them to start eating into that this year 2019. Then a larger chunk in 2020 and then hopefully paying tax 2021 or 2022 but not fully. Looking at it logically the dividend could slip by a year to October 2022.
If I am critical its that 2018 was around $2,5 million lower than I expected and I am not sure if that was expenditure or revenue its been far too much of a moving game to understand why I feel that. Really I have put it down ( after reading the financials) to too much investment in new things - they seemed to have upgraded everything even payroll - that costs a lot of initial capital but should have benefits in the long run.
I remember HUB around $1.20 to $1.50 and how frustrating that period was - I ultimately sold out at a good profit but nowhere near the highs of now. I suspect that OVH is the same at the moment with the time waiting being very long. I don't ever expect it to be a HUB I never do and all I am hoping for is a good business delivering a regular return so the price range of $1.00 to $2.00 will do me. I like annuity style businesses with recurring revenue. If I must wait until 2022 that's okay but it's probably worth around 80c to $1.00 today in my opinion but I am overweight already but in the money as I also got this from a Diversa holding.
