Agree about the disappointing 6-9 months but I think it's too early to comment on the new MD. He showed his faith in BZL by buying into it. IMO that's what shareholders want to see.
You'd have to wonder why he left an active role in BZL to come to ALY if he didn't think he could improve on past performance. He may invest in ALY over time as more results become known.
IMO, the biggest problem has been the depth at which ALY has drilled. If they get that right, we may have far better prospects. I dream of another SFR and am buying at these levels - call it averaging down!
