ABC rural website has an article highlighting Australian wagyu genetics sale where 10 straws of Wagyu bull semen sold for a "jaw dropping" $280 000 to a South African breeder and a bull selling for $105 000.
AACO have invested strongly in Wagyu genetics and now have a well positioned herd (Australia's biggest ?) that would clearly be worth a lot and like some of their properties very hard to replicate.
