Given a pronounced regional natural-gas deal making strategy that has emerged with Australian targets, RBC ponders who else could be a target. It comes after the recent bids in Australia for AWE and now Harbour Energy's fresh $10.37 billion offer for Santos. RBC believes a few names stand out, including Sino Gas & Energy with its direct exposure to China's domestic gas market. It also points to Comet Ridge with a strong asset position in Australia's Northern Bowen region and Falcon Oil & Gas and its strategic investment in Australia's Beetaloo Basin with Origin Energy.
