a mate in one of the coal companies bought back the papers from the recent Hong Kong Anthracite Conference and spoke to a coal trader in Singapore who said that marketing anthracite at anything above 15% ash is almost impossible, even before the surplus that has emerged worldwide - makes Kangwane look uncertain (at best) given its clearly got low washing yields if you look at the various Presentations
Mbila, accoring to these coal industry types, looks a lot better coal quality - but the wording of the announcements is a bit worrying - it seems to hint that Mbila needs a lot more work which doesnt sound like a BFS. Add the shares coming any day from the York transaction to buy the 30% of Mbila, add the $18m financing, add more feasibility work and then development and I'm not sure where this will go.Makes one wonder.
