This current period just feels like the calm before the storm in my opinion. WAF has been one of the strongest in the gold sector over recent weeks as it has held above 30c with low volatility. This provides me with a great deal of confidence that WAF will soon enter a period of over performance as investors fight to get into one of the most promising non-producers. As the gold sector in general has been quite depressed (especially with mid-tiers and juniors), I personally expect to see an extended period of over performance which will last longer than expected (as is the nature of the market). Of course, I have no idea when this might occur but it's just my contrarian nature. When I observe many investors (including myself) losing patience or giving up on quality stocks, it makes me think that a turnaround may not be too far away.
