I tried to buy shares this morning and although I was first in the queue the order did not get executed until late evening. In between there was a lot of trading at my bid price. Suggests that the shorts were covering and had priority with the brokers to buy ahead of everyone else. I suspect the shorts will continue to cover over the next few days
