Sorry to hear that you got in during the overbought stage. If you look at the long term price trend as I did after the fact, I regret that I bought in more at mid 30s and a small parcel in the 40s during high pricing. You could see the share was clearly over priced when market cap is hitting 600M on an exploration company. I think the lithium price per ton had investors a bit over excited.

As I was completely new to the stock game back then. I think my first buy in was about 5,000 units at 28.5c in mid to late 2017. I have a reasonable holding in this stock now but will soon be increasing the risk by investing significantly further. I see great things from this company, but my investment strategy is longer term (5/10 year time period) than day trading short term-ers.

If you look at Lithium Americas in 2016 after they constructed the Demo plant at their Argentina project they landed a JV 50/50 with SQM to develop the project together. This saw a substantial climb in the stock price.

Now obviously im not stating that this company will get the same sort of support, SQM are a massive company, but even if we are able to get some offtake agreement I see good price movements in the short term. The AGM investor presentation showed an estimated timeline that suggested finding an offtake partner before Q3 2019. On top of this I hope that they produce solid DFS results and get EIS approval which will again add to SP increases through Q3 2019.

Once they have these share price increase the company, IMO, would be wise to then follow with Capital Raising to help fund the plant while share price is on the up (if this is the way they intend to finance). Then we play the longer term waiting game for production...

The BoD even with the current losses I carry have been perfect IMO. They have been transparent, timely and proactive in every possible way. They did a Capital Raising that was near to perfect. The current lithium market cant stay bear forever. As always DYOR.
