Certainly... the ones with longer investing time-frames will do well to remember that the Hancock's have pulled this kind of rabbit out of the hat many times in regards to their iron ore leases in the Pilbara.
There is certainly legal precedents to it but I doubt SFR would pursue it at this point as Black Butte seems to occupy the board at present.
