"If we hypothesise for a bit and say that we have 10Mt which could well be possible after a few more holes given the high SG of material and you draw a vertical line at that mark on your scatter plots along with your existing grade lines it doesn't leave many dots in that upper right hand box (i.e higher grade and size) for a bimodal deposit (with the exception of Cu).
If it falls into that category in the end we will have literally one of the best deposits of it's type globally. Not ruling it out it's just not statistically a high probability."
@binwood
Based on the USGS data for the bimodal-mafic type of VMS deposits there are 0 deposits in the quadrant you describe based on Ag grade, 1 deposit based on Au grade, 2 deposits based on Zn grade, 4 based on Pb grade and ~46 (plus or minus 2) deposits based on Cu grade. See below. You are right about it not being statistically highly probable based on >10Mt. Based on the Zn,Pb and Cu grades there are many bimodal deposits with grades ranging near Rupice's in the 1Mt-10Mt range, we could have one of those with anomalously high Ag and Au or a misunderstood hybrid-SEDEX deposit with unusually high Au/Cu grades.
