Not sure if you guys have seen AJQ just go into halt pending a raise. It seems very strange to me. It doesn't look like DGR are involved, so the logical thought would be that Tribeca are having another go?
The timing of this seems ridiculous given they are in the final stages of the results for Myall 4A.
I may be off here, but it suggests to me this will be a significant raise (and one would almost assume at a significant premium).
AJQ had talked about refinancing debt in their next stage of development, but given the indications that the 4A well may be much better than expected, along with Tribeca lending the $6.8m environmental bond at better rates than the existing CN's, perhaps this refinancing is being brought forward?
Probably pointless speculating, but if my hunch is correct, the MC of AJQ is about to increase dramatically. Assuming DGR aren't involved and get diluted, I still see this as a massive positive.
The larger AJQ gets, the more liquid it becomes, and at least for my valuation method it increases our value akin to our SOLG holding.
I'll be interested to see if DGR proxy trades on AJQ today.
Anyone else have any theories?
