Problem with the options is that people have to have the funds to convert them prior to expiry. If they know they won't be able to convert them, they will sell. This will put continued downward pressure on the option price until expiry.
This will occur whether the fundamentals/potential is there or not. The drilling delay is very unfortunate in my view, especially for option holders.
