    i am a novice in the equities markets.
    I am trying to get an understanding of how options work [without any success] in particular, wbe opt aug20.
    everything I try and read on the subject becomes cumbersome and I have to give up without learning anything, other than "wtf"!!
    would it be possible for an informed poster to compose a simple to understand post of how options work on this site, please?
    I would appreciate it.
