As I sit having a well earnt beer after a hard weeks work, I started thinking about these options and the current drill program...
We know the program has started and I'd guarantee they would have finished the first hole, unless there has been a major breakdown etc.
Copper mineralisation, be it oxide or fresh sulphide, is pretty obvious and with the XRF instruments these companies carry nowadays they'd have a very good idea what grades they would be expecting, this you'd believe is sensitive and material information under the ASX rulings.
What are management to do? Will they inform the market or will they wait until they have the lab assays?
Timing of this is crucial given the options that are due to expire. If they were to hit mineralisation, sit on the results, let the options expire (which is to their benefit) and then release the results - Hello class action!
Now who's getting on the phone on Monday morning to politely ask them to make an exploration update ASX release before the options expire?
