Tjtian, I suspect you are right: "where it says 90% of trades were short - doesn't this means the only sellers are short sellers". However, it does not include CHI-X trades. But I don't really know.
In respect to your comment in relation the nickel price: last two nights of trading on nickel suggest some excitement. See first chart.
When this is placed in context of the very long term chart (second chart) it shows that if demand exceeds supply the price could easily increase three or four fold. So, if the battery hypothesis is correct we could see substantially higher nickel prices over the next few years.
