Well I"m not saying it"ll be irrelevant, perhaps in about 5 years when Nova is half way through batteries will be big enough to start significantly effecting the nickel market, but that will only be the beginning for electric cars, maybe 5% of new car sales to some degree (mostly just hybrid) electric. It will likely imho be much more interesting in 10 years when Nova is planned to be on it's last legs.
And I expect nickel to be part of the predominant battery chemistry for the life of Nova, but I am not sure it can be if electric cars are to reach the full potential of near universality. But if we start effecting the nickel market at 5% or so battery uptake, how are we going to 80 or 90% on nickel?
