Probably should have seen this punishment coming, judging by the huge increase in the volumes shorted in recent days. See the table, below.
And this was repeated with WSA and OZL, so I guess the sector is just ripe for this type of trading ATM.
I'm with norsc. Haven't averaged down.
Hopefully the $3 support holds firm. Can assess options from there.
